Controlled trials using specific purified or standardised preparations have reported potentially useful changes in testosterone markers in healthy middle-aged men, fatigue-related strength retention in physically active men, and less bone-density loss during the study in postmenopausal women with osteopenia. Less controlled studies examined semen parameters in men with oligospermia, a collagen-related biomarker, skeletal-muscle gene expression, and short-term physical performance with a resin product. Most other popular claims — instant energy, cognitive enhancement, anti-aging, detoxification — rest on laboratory, animal, mechanistic, or traditional evidence. This evidence does not establish whether those effects occur in humans. Every human study used a specific preparation at a specific dose, so results do not automatically transfer to every resin, capsule, gummy, or liquid on the market.
