Corrections Policy
Effective date: 17 July 2026
Last reviewed: 17 July 2026
Purpose
SuppScope aims to correct material errors clearly and promptly. Readers, researchers, companies and regulators may submit correction requests through the Contact page.
What to include
Include the article title or URL, exact statement, reason it may be inaccurate, supporting evidence, relevant date or batch and any relevant commercial relationship.
Review process
The SuppScope Editorial Team reviews the request against the original source, current evidence and editorial standards. A request from a company does not receive automatic priority or favourable treatment.
Types of updates
Minor correction
Spelling, formatting, broken links or wording that does not change the conclusion may be corrected without a prominent notice.
Material correction
An error affecting evidence interpretation, safety guidance, product identification, disclosure or the main conclusion should receive a visible correction or update note.
Evidence update
New research or regulatory guidance may lead to an updated reviewed date and revised interpretation.
Retraction or removal
Content may be removed or substantially withdrawn when it is unreliable, unlawfully published, unsafe to maintain or cannot be corrected adequately.
Transparency
Where practical, a material correction note should state what changed, why it changed, the date and whether the conclusion changed.
Disagreements
SuppScope may decline requests that seek to remove accurate criticism, suppress uncertainty, replace independent interpretation with marketing language or rely on unverifiable evidence.
A disagreement with a conclusion does not by itself establish an error.
